Overview and Purpose
This program was developed to share advice from people living with cancer about how nurses can improve the management of chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). Also, content will include the most current CINV information, research, practice guidelines, and suggested websites for reference. This activity will enrich the oncology healthcare provider's contribution to quality healthcare by offering insight into the patient's perception of CINV, the impact on quality of life, and potential strategies for side effect management.

Target Audience
This article is intended for nurses involved in the care of patients with cancer who want additional education about CINV to better help patients manage their cancer diagnosis and treatment. 
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this online continuing nursing educational activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify CINV pearls of wisdom from people living with cancer.
2. Discuss possible reasons for the differences in perceptions of CINV in patients versus clinicians.
3. Describe the potential role of selected complementary therapy interventions for CINV.
